  • Eric Bennett

    Executive Vice-President

    Eric joined the The CarbonNeutral Company in November 2008 as EVP, Strategic Development upon its acquisition of GreenLife. Eric has 14 years of experience as a business professional in a variety of functional areas and has been responsible for structuring and managing numerous complex, international multi-party project financings and other corporate and business development transactions in the film and television, defense, and carbon management industries. Eric holds an MBA with Distinction from the Stern School of Business at NYU and a Bachelors degree in Psychology from UCLA.

  • Maria Cappelen

    Maria Cappelen

    Carbon Sourcing Director

    Maria joined The CarbonNeutral Company in 2006 as Head of Carbon Procurement, she and her team are active in the VER and CER markets, executing project-based transactions originating mostly in developing countries. Prior to joining the company, Maria was working in the power industry for 10 years, specialising in power trading and structured deals in Scandinavia, Poland and the U.S. During this period, Maria was also involved in hydro power project development in Latin America. Maria started her career trading fixed income securities for a major U.S. investment bank in the City of London.

  • Jem Porcaro

    Jem Porcaro

    SVP, Strategic Development

    Jem has 10 years of experience in energy and environmental management and policy. His career includes a substantial period as energy analyst with the Sustainable Energy Programme at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the U.N.’s largest source of grant assistance. At UNDP, Jem was responsible for advising governments on sustainable energy technologies and policy and helping manage UNDP’s $2.5 billion energy project portfolio. Prior to UNDP, Jem worked as an environmental engineer advising large corporate clients, including several Fortune 500 companies, on U.S. environmental policy and regulation.

  • Rebecca Fay

    Rebecca Fay

    Marketing Director

    Rebecca joined The CarbonNeutral Company as Marketing Director in June 2009, with responsibility for developing the strategic marketing direction of the company, working closely with clients to develop communications plans around their carbon reduction programmes, and establishing a comprehensive network of channel marketing partners. Rebecca has worked in marketing for large corporations for more than 20 years, including Reuters, Factiva and Dow Jones. Most recently she served as Vice President, Global Field Marketing for the Dow Jones Enterprise Media Group. Previously she led marketing for Factiva, a joint venture between Dow Jones and Reuters, which provides business news to enterprises.

  • Kate Ferguson

    Finance Director

    Kate joined The CarbonNeutral Company in February 2009 and is responsible for Finance, HR and general administration. She trained with KPMG Brisbane to become a qualified Chartered Accountant before moving to London in 1997. In her last role, Kate served as Finance Director on the Board of Callserve Communications Limited, where she led the due diligence and legal processes for the sale of the company to Vyke Communications plc. Kate also serves as a Board Member and Trustee for Advocate for Mental Health, a charity for service users in Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea.

    Nathan Wimble

    European Sales Director

    Nathan joined The CarbonNeutral Company in 2007 as a senior member of the business development team, and now heads up the European sales organisation focused on working with leading businesses to understand and reduce their carbon footprint. Nathan has 12 years business development experience working at FT Business, Reed Elsevier and Williams Lea. Among other roles, Nathan has been responsible for launching a new high worth private investor event, a new industry sector of the UK’s leading international food and drink exhibition and establishing a partnership approach for a global operation specialising in business process outsourcing.

    Jane McAllister

    Director of Sales, SME (Global)

    Jane joined The CarbonNeutral Company in 2009 as a Director of Sales, SME, helping companies to understand and reduce their carbon footprint. She has over eight years business development and strategic key account management experience in media and the data management industry. In her first position she successfully sold corporate sponsorship in 33 countries to blue chip organisations and government bodies and in her last role Jane managed and grew a portfolio of companies with a value of £4.5 million. Jane has a BSc Hons in European Business Studies and Technology.

    Eloise Coe

    Client Services Director (Global)

    Eloise joined The CarbonNeutral Company in 2007. Eloise works alongside a team of Business Development Managers, developing client relationships and ensuring excellent account management and best practice support for all global clients. Eloise has a background in Account Management, having worked for OgilvyOne on accounts such as Unilever, Amex and Cisco and supporting high profile delegates at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival in France. She has an MA in Text and Performance Studies from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).

    Mark La Croix

    Executive Vice President, Business Development (U.S.)

    Mark has the unique combination of over 25 years of experience as a sales and marketing executive, and leadership as a senior sustainability officer. Most recently he held the position of Vice President, Global Sustainability with InterfaceFABRIC, a leading manufacturer of commercial interior fabrics. In this role, Mark provided guidance and direction to all disciplines within the company, integrating sustainability throughout facilities and operations.

  • Mike Reynolds

    Mike Reynolds

    Vice President, Strategic Relations (Global)

    Mike has worked in business development and marketing for 10 years. After four years within telecommunications and media Mike joined The CarbonNeutral Company in January 2004 and for the last six years has been advising businesses on climate change and carbon management strategies. One of the most experienced executives in the market, Mike has worked on a number of world first’s with businesses looking to innovate and lead within their segment; including Land Securities PLC, Corus Steel (part of Tata Group) and BSkyB. Since 2007, Mike has led The CarbonNeutral Company’s business development and marketing activities in North America first in San Francisco and more recently in New York.

    Rani Virdee

    Asia Pacific Managing Director

    Rani joined The CarbonNeutral Company in 2004 as a senior member of the commercial team, and now heads the Asia Pacific region, based in Singapore. Rani works with leading companies and organisations to reduce their carbon footprints. She also supports existing global customers who have local offices in the Asia Pacific region. Rani has a LLB Hons and more than 25 yrs experience in business development, global sales, and marketing, gained within the legal, pharmaceuticals and medical sector, working with corporates including IMS Health and ConvaTec.
