 On the 5th of June 2008 initiatives to Cut out a Kilo of CO2 included:

• Engaging all staff with our campaign
• Turning off the lights in their offices for the entire day
• Walk to work schemes
• Lunchtime company picnics so all computers and monitors were powered down
• No printing for the entire day
• Double side prining only
• For every 100 web visitors to a website one tonne of carbon credit was purchased
• Went CarbonNeutral® for the day
• Encouraged staff to donate money with each meal that was purchased in the company canteen which went towards an offset project
• One company even bundled a weeks worth of the waste paper they collected from their offices and put it on the front lawn of their offices to let staff know how much CO2 they were wasting!
