AXA’s Carbon Calculator for small businesses

The Calculator is a self assessment tool, using the same emissions factors as the UK's government department handling climate change issues, DEFRA.  The assessment  covers energy usage, waste and travel - the three main sources of CO2. At the end , you'll be presented with a report of your CO2 emissions, suggestions for ways you might reduce emissions throughout your organisation, as well as options for using carbon offset to balance your business emissions to net zero so to be eligible to use the CarbonNeutral® brand mark.

Carbon Account
Everything you do will be saved to a personalised Carbon Account.  This means you can: stop mid-way through your Assessment and return later to complete it; you can complete the Assessment, get a sense of the costs of carbon offset, leave to discuss the proposition with colleagues and then return to your Account to progress to purchase.  It is up to you.  If you don't like the idea of a Carbon Account, send us an email and we will delete it.

CarbonNeutral® branding
Balancing your business carbon emissions to net zero means that you can use the CarbonNeutral® company logo on communications to show suppliers, customers and employees that  your business is responsibly tackling its CO2 emissions. Because this is a self assessment, all applications for CarbonNeutral® branding will include a final manual checking process at our head office.

This calculator is primarily designed for businesses that have fewer than 250 employees and a maximum of 5 sites.
