Basis of the sale An agreement for us to sell you Goods is made on these terms where we accept an order made by you via our website. The description of the Goods, the price, VAT and delivery costs are set out when you order. We will confirm acceptance of your order on-screen. We aim to give you a clear idea of the products we sell. However, you appreciate that there are inevitably slight variations between an on screen image and the actual product. We may in our sole discretion from time to time vary the nature of the Goods from that advertised without notice to you, so long as these variations are not material alterations. Making a Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier, but please make sure that your browser is cookie enabled. Just browse our catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. We accept credit card payments, or you may download an order form so that you can send us your order and pay by cheque. If you are paying by cheque please allow five working days for The CarbonNeutral Company to clear the cheque and despatch. Accepted methods of payment We accept cheques and the following credit and debit cards: Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Switch and Solo. Details of the order The quantity and description of the Goods will be those set out in your order. Orders are accepted at our sole discretion but are normally accepted if the goods are available, the order reflects current pricing your credit or account card is authorised for the transaction or your cheque clears. Payment terms We will charge your credit card account for payment upon receipt of order. We accept no liability if a delivery is delayed because you did not give us the right payment details. If it is not possible to obtain full payment for the Goods from your account on delivery of the Goods to you we can cancel the contract or suspend any further deliveries to you. This does not affect any other rights we may have. We will take all reasonable care to keep all information connected with your order secure but we cannot be held liable for any loss that you may suffer if a third party obtains unauthorised access to any data including credit and account details you provide while accessing or ordering from this web site, unless this is solely due to our negligence. Delivery Delivering and handling are charged according to your location. Standard delivery, for all orders to the UK, is by 2nd class postage (normally 3-5 working days though please allow up to 28 working days during busy periods such as Christmas), and the charge is £3.95 for a standard pack. Next Working Day Delivery is available on most items, from £6.75, although orders must be placed before 12pm. The following countries are included in our definition of the UK for delivery purposes: England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and all BFPO addresses. Delivery Schedule The CarbonNeutral Company will deliver your order on receipt of payment or credit card authorisation. Items are dispatched within 10 working days of receipt of an order. Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. If we have your email address, we will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. Guarantee & Return Policy The CarbonNeutral Company wants you to be delighted every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items, so simply do so in their original packaging within 28 days and we will issue a full refund for the item within 21 days. Defective Items You can always return items if they are defective. Please note: we only accept returns of items that have been opened if they are defective. To return an item, please enclose a note giving the reason for the return and wrap the package securely. Delivery Charges If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is defective, we will be happy to refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and your costs in returning it to us. Otherwise you will be responsible for those charges and the costs of any other services. Privacy Policy The CarbonNeutral Company do not disclose buyer's information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used then to store your details if you select the 'remember me' option.
