Love The Planet are an innovative cosmetics company based in Aberdeen, Scotland.  The first product developed by Love the Planet took the inventor to the finals of the British Female Inventor of the Year Awards 2002 in London.  They are also a CarbonNeutral company.

They have developed a washable cleansing pad as an environmentally friendly alternative to cotton wool. Use to remove make up with cleanser, put in the wash bag, then wash in the washing machine so the pads can be used over and over again. This cuts down on cotton wool being flushed down the toilet which causes damage to the water screening systems leading to waste flushing out onto beaches and rivers.The range of products is soon to be expanded and will feature environmentally friendly cosmetics and toiletries.
