Fly CarbonNeutral® with Crystal Holidays

Crystal Holidays are working with The CarbonNeutral Company  on an innovative programme to allow customers to offset the greenhouse gas emitted from their flights - and make them CarbonNeutral.

For £5 (£10 for North America and £15 for Chile), you can offset the CO2 emissions from your flight. The money will go towards investment into a small hydro-electric project in Germany, and you'll also get a sapling planted in a UK forest of your choice.

You'll receive a certificate, a map of your chosen forest, and a baggage tag (in recycled leather!) to show off on your trip.

Crystal's Kingston offices

We at Crystal Holidays understand that our business has an impact on the environment. We are therefore going to be looking at ways in which we can reduce this impact, and help make us the responsible operator of choice.

The first step we've taken is to balance the CO2 emissions from our head offices in Kingston, London. Our electricity, gas, and waste use causes 516 tonnes of CO2 a year. We're working with The CarbonNeutral Company to plant over 700 trees in Galleypot, Oxfordshire - which over their growing lifetime will absorb our CO2. Find out about Galleypot by clicking here.

When you book your holiday through Crystal Holidays, let our staff know you want to make your flight CarbonNeutral. The cost (£5 if your holiday is in Europe, £10 for USA and £15 for Chile), will be added to the cost of your holiday, and you'll also be asked to choose where you'd like 'your' tree planted.
