Carrentals.co.uk supports CarbonNeutral®: the standard for voluntary action on climate change. We have teamed up with The CarbonNeutral Company to give you the ability to offset the carbon emissions from your rental by paying a small additional amount towards climate friendly technology projects.

Did you know that an average rental car will travel 90 miles a day and emit an average of 0.027 tonnes of carbon dioxide per day? We think it is difficult for the average person to truly comprehend what this means or know what practical steps to take to redress the harm they inadvertently cause.

So we have calculated a daily charge you can pay towards the projects to compensate for your emissions: you select the number of days, we calculate the offset. While you will not ‘receive anything’ directly, we encourage you to take this opportunity to make what is a ‘very real difference’ to the environment. We support schemes as far a field as New Zealand but you can use this for all rentals, whether you rent a car in Murcia or use car hire at Glasgow airport.
